Some tips on how to make your Vegas trip an unforgettable experience
1. Don't gamble against the locals
You’re sitting to play poker and your dealer knows everyone by name? They are regular customers. These locals make their living playing against tourists. So, if you see that, just grab your chips and go to another table – the one where tourists play, ideally drunk ones. Better to head to the poker room at night, when all locals are asleep.
2. Get drunk at cheap slots
There’s free alcohol at Vegas casinos – to get it you don’t need to sit at a high-betting poker table. You can get cocktails for free at the penny slots too! So, if you’re hitting the clubs later that night, go to cheapest slot machines before. This move can save you a lot of money. Just remember to tip your waitress!
3. Gamble in style
When you’re spending your money, better do it in style. Wear something classy and head to a newest and fashionable casinos. Do your gambling among the famous and powerful people!
4. Make friends at the bar
Every casino has a bar, and most of them have a circle bar – right in the middle of the floor. This is where you make new friends, because you don’t have to play or pay the cover. Also, this place has a high turnover – so it’s easier to part ways with people you don’t like.
5. Play craps and bet the pass line
Craps table can be intimidating if you don’t know the rules. But the players there have a lot of fun! If you want to join the fun, just put your money on the table and bet the pass line. It’s really simple: somebody rolls the dice, and if everybody’s cheering, you’ve won! Join the fun! If everybody gets quiet, you’ve lost. It’s close to 50/50 bet. Small tip: do not play the Don’t pass line – it’ll irritate another players.
